Hi, I am in need of a good working order wiper motor for my 99 C200. Mine decided the best time to break was in a torrential downpour miles from home lol

Is it definatly the motor and not the mech?

Had the whole assy out today. Its the nylon gear in the gearbox attached to the motor that has been chewed up by the metal worm gear. Silly design flaw there I think.

Sometimes the mechanism siezes up and causes the motor to fail, so check the mech too.

Cause = lack of lubrication or blade turned on when frozen to the wind screen.
