Hi Guys
Just bought my dad's C200, which has been completely faultless for him for years and years. As soon as I get my hands on it, it starts playing up
Basically, I had to disconnect the battery to fit a new headunit, and upon finishing and going for a drive, I find the car is completely gutless.
If you go full throttle it is sluggish from low revs, and struggles past 4krpm, sounding like its not having a very nice time and taking ages to reach the redline
The only time it seems to behave normally is 1-3.5k rpm on gentle throttle, around 1/4 opening.
Anyone shed some light? Is it electronics related or a coincidence e.g. blocked/collapsed CAT?
Regards
Jon
