Breakers? have picked up a few very good rads in the past,previous owners changing them not long before car rendered u/s for whatever reason.

That's not a bad price as is if it has AC then that will need to be discharged and re-filled.
Also mb coolant isn't cheap too. There will be 2l of that.
A good rad will be £150ish.

Thanks guys. It's plus VAT I've discovered so think I'll see if I can find one for less. Chap reckons the Rad is £200 so cheers BlackC55, good to have an idea of price.
Wasn't sure about a breakers as i wasn't convinced that there would be a lot in or if I'd get a good one.
Had to send it to the garage as I don't have axle stands and didn't want to poke about without them.
On the plus side, it's not the head gasket so that's a bonus.

I suspected it might be but wan't totally sure. Car has AC (might be aftermarket) so wasn't sure if this was the one with/without. That and CLK 320 etc as the description made me wonder.
