As said - you need to be realistic here.
The OP has bought a ten year old W202, it has displayed one (probably simple) fault and the garage that have sold the car have agreed to repair it.
What is the big deal? Cars are only bits of metal and plastic, they go wrong, they get fixed.
Look at the number of people who have bought brand new MB cars that go wrong - should we just burn or cube every car the first time they ever need a repair, because they can no longer be trusted?...
