w202 c250td tuning

I have not even heard of that before!!

Excellent find!

I will look into it a bit further, let me know if you try it and how easy it is in the meantime!

o i already have tried it, only done it on saturday past but seems to be a nice little punch of throttle respones on my auto,

What mileage do you guys have on your tuned cars?
I'd love to increase the poke a bit, but not at the cost of transmission life.

is it easy to do it?

I have looked through the page and it seems ok, but i think i might get confused with the wires!!

Have you noticed anymore power? or just better throttle response?

better throttle respone and pulls alot better thru the gears, it is fairly easy to do, i must rig up the camera and get a few pics, as for the wiring the facelift pump plug is different to the one described, also this will also do the 300td as far as i know

It will.
All you are doing is fooling the rack position sensor to push the rack a bit further than normal.
It would work on any electronic diesel pump that monitors the metering valve.

thnx fella, iv to do a couple of the 90 & 110 vag yolks, similar set up to this, gonna cut out my cat and hen onto the rollers to see how much of an increase it actually makes

handy modification for abut £2

A few runs up and down a flat road with a stopwatch would tell you more than a RR session.
Do five runs each way and check the difference.

will do, m8 runs his own tuning company so i will make use of free rolling road

I would still be interested in on the road figures, they can be a lot more revealing.
What does it matter if you have more outright power or torque on a RR, it's actually slingshotting to the horizon that matters..

not yet m8 and prob wont b as im selling her now and just bought an 88 500sel
