W202 car hunting

hi my w202 c180 Nreg Auto is starting to hunt at idie any one know what would cores this and what i could do to make it better

As the poster above has helpfully suggested, It could be the MAF? But It also could be Spark plugs, Ignition Leads... But It could be that the throttle body needs cleaning. It sometimes gets contaminated with oil from the engine breather. Just take the main feed from the Air box off the throttle body and Clean it with carb and choke cleaner and some kitchen roll. You may see an improvement. If not try the MAF or the other parts I suggested...

thanks for your info guys cleaned the throttle body spark plugs have been done
were would the maf be on the 1996 cos not betweetn the air box and throttle body

some do, some don't.

Check for a vacuum leak too.
