Hi what exactly does this unit do?
ie central locking, alarm, windows, headrests, puddle lights etc.

Total closure, electric sunroof and electric windows.

It also does the lock up windows from the key if you forgot to lock it up via the switch. by keeping finger on switch after locking doors
not sure if that is the same as total closure.

Thanks, putting the key in the lock does not lock the central locking only by using the remote,are the headrests /puddle lights ran through this unit as well? Just trying to find out how the headrests operate either through the central locking pump or as a reply from a previous post from a pipe in the engine bay.

if you push the lock down by hand, and you start the key., i think it would pop open the locks.
Have you got a problem with the locks, they might just need resseting.

How to reset? Just disconnect the battery? If so for how long? Key remote has been sync otherwise would not operate the alarm.
