Recently I had a problem where I had been away and come back to my dead car. The battery had died and I couldn't get into the boot.
Anyway, I managed to resolve this and I put the battery on charge. After it had charged fully I put it back into the car and managed to start it.
The problem I have now is that although the car starts, if I let go of the accelerator the car just dies. I have tried to start the car and keep my foot on the accelerator for a while but this makes not difference.
Do I need to buy a new battery or is it something else that might be the problem? It was standing without a start for about a month or so.
