W202 fan constantly on..

Has been going non-stop last few days, at least until battery died, any reason why this is happening and what I can do to rectify it?

Which fan, cooling or ventilation.

If it's the coling fan it might be the control relay, mounted in the (n/s) wheel arch are iirc.
It sounds like a stuck relay anyway.

It's one of the fans under the bay, pitch black so I can't see a thing.

Could it be my air-con fan? It's aftermarket aircon, if I pull the relays assume it will stop, the aircon doesn't work in any case.

Battery has gone flat again now so all is quiet on western front, I shall pull a few relays when I get it running again.
