W202 interior manual seats

Hi All,

newbie to site.

Just acquired a W202 250Td Elegance Estate. Collecting end of week.

grey cloth interior..

questions are as follows.

did the wiring loom have pre-wired for electric option as plus heated seat option.. would i find these connections if seats removed?

can i only purchase w202 leather seats or will w203/204 etc fit on the same mounting points? (accept door cards will have to remain until i can find leather)

Whatever options the car was ordered with is what the wiring will be for. If your car had manual no leccy seats leaving the factory it will not have the wiring for anything other than those type of seats.

If it's a 202 then 202 seats are the only ones that will fit properly.

so the bolt holes on a 202

will be different to a 203? 210?

Haven't measured them but I would be very, very surprised if the seats were transferable without a lot of fettling.

202 estate seats aren't that rare that you'd need to bother with anything else IMO.
