w202, where is my horn??

Howdy, I have a 1996 C230K with the dual horn, this worked for about a month into my ownership and has since decided that I only require the higher pitched noise, which is embarrassing too say the least and I also fear that it will affect the MOT. I have searched the forums to no avail really, so I was hoping someone could help me first of all locate where the horns actually are and what could have potentially caused it.

Sorry I can't help with the location of the low note horn on your car, but I have the same scenario with my A Class which is now in need of another new low note horn (the third one during my ownership).

Probably under the offside headlamp...behind the bumper.

It will not fail the MOT.

cheers for the replies guys, I'll check it out. if I can't fix it I'll just have to fit a massive fog-horn haha
