I have a C350 SC and the back tyres are nearing replcement, wear is pretty even but some cracks are appearing on the edges and tread has probably a month left. The current tyres are Dunlop Sport 8080.

Grip has been great in a straight line in the dry, questionable in the wet but since this is my first RWD car I dont really know what to expect. I tend to burn through tyres quite quickly.

Any thoughts on these:

Kuhmo KU31 - £87
Falken ZE912 - £88
Bridgestone RE050 - £114
Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 - £115
Pirelli PZero Rosso MO - £124
Continental Sport Contact 3 MO - £125
Bridgestone RE050 MO - £123
Bridgestone Turanza MOExt - £135
Goodyear Excellence MOExt - £150

My car has the run flat sensors and only has a tyre repair kit in the boot which is slightly worrying but apparently run flats dont ride so well (?)

I find the Kumho KU31 excellent on my W203 C230 V6 Petrol, 7G + Sport Pack. The original Contis did 15K miles, the KU31's 20K miles and I've also tried the Falken 452's which only did 10K miles.

I have P-Zero on my car (same fitment) but Y-rated.

I'll be switching to Continental when all four are due.

My experience is for rears
Contis - 3 sets at 15k each
Goodyears F1 assy - 12k
Michellin Primacy - 16k and still some way to go before wear bar...

Trouble is its not just wear rates - but wear rate per £....Michellin is wearing well but cost the most..

Been hearing good reports on the Kuhmos

Any thoughts on Grip?

I'm down to:
Kuhmo KU31 - £87
Continental Sport Contact 3 MO - £125
Bridgestone Turanza MOExt - £135

One thing I did notice the Kuhmos are not such a big saving when I get round to replacing the fronts. Still unsure about run flats.

I find the Kumhos just as good as the Contis in the dry or wet. They are also nice and quiet (compared to the Falken 452s). Funnily enough I get 26K miles from the fronts regardless of whether they are Kumhos or Contis fitted (not sure why). You probably wouldn't want to mix brands as the KU31's are directional and the Contis assymetrical.

Another Kumho 31 fan here. I've run Contis, Dunlops, Goodyears, Michelins (which did 18,000) and currently Kumhos. Whilst I can't say how long they have lasted yet, early signs are good but I can say that their performance so far has been excellent. There are quite a few of us trying Kumhos any if you do a search I think we are all happy:)

Kumho's are ment to be very good
