I seem to be having intermittent problems with the Nav function on my Audio 50 aps.....at times, it seems very slow to read the disc and sometimes will not read it at all. Also it seems to have lost most of the streets in Bristol for some reason!

I have a 2004/54 facelift C270 and am currently running version 9.1.

When it works, it works well, just a bit frustrating that it is so slow or does not load.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what may be the problem?

Have you tried cleaning the CD lens, they are pretty sensitive with nav disc's.
Mine (albeit a COMAND) could read and play CD perfectly but would not read the nav disk until I cleaned the lens.
It now works perfectly and faster to navigate than ever before so I guess it was dirty for a long while.

Plan B... is it a genuine disc? some of the copies can take ages to read and actually contribute to the nav unit eventually failing altogether.

Hope a clean sorts it for you.

Will try a clean...did you use a normal cd cleaning disc?

I did have a non-genuine disc that came with it but now have a genuine disc

Have used cleaning disc...seems to have made some difference....

Still not listing all roads in Bristol though....
