I'm hoping members can help me sort out an ongoing problem
Engine goes flat at 2.5k revs.I have had the codes read twice,nothing comes up,changed MAS twice,BPCV and BPS.When I get someone to rev the engine whilst I am looking at the turbo actuating lever,it does not move.Indie says this is normal engine has to be under load.Is this correct.
Indie said maybe vacuum system had a leak somewere,I have noticed the headlights don't move now on the thumbwheel inside the car.I have checked the connecters at the headlights and they seem ok.The other possible is the intercooler and charge air hoses,is it much of a job to remove the front bumper.
Some times I get full boost coming in at 3.5k revs and it will go to the red line and then as if a limiter has cut in It drops back to2.5k rev
Sorry to be a bit long winded I would just like the car back to when I first bought it.
