W203 C240 1999 Stuck on the driveway

Happy Sunday everyone.

My W203 woes continue. Has anyone ever heard of a module in the car going nuts and flooding the CAN network?
My PITA 1999 C240 has gone from brake lights stuck on to engine running without the key and now the alarm goes off and the radiator fan starts as soon as I reconnect the battery. I now can't turn the key to undo the steering lock to get it off the drive.

Somethings lost communication with the car, maybe main ecu, you need it checked by someone familiar with Mercedes, doubt you will get an answer from a forum, no water ingress in the car?

Battery health maybe? Low strength batteries can do some weird stuff to cars.

Update: Scrapped it for £30. Took out the good modules to sell.
