W203 CDi Evo Coupe (MY 2002)

Had very little response on this - most unusual given how helpful this forum normally is! Thought I'd try again:



Just taken delivery of this which looks pretty good! (pics to follow) Evo spec with 17" wheels Some questions I'd appreciate help with please:

1. The glowplug light seems to stay on for some time (up to 60 seconds or so) after I have started the engine. Should I be concerned? (I now understand this may mean a glowplug is on its way out)
2. The suspension seems to "creak" at the rear more than me on a cold morning!! Ideas? (One person suggested silicon. Sprayed where?)
3. The interior movement sensor was damaged and they are going to replace it. Do I have no security at all without it and once they have fitted a new one (it's not an MB dealer) will STAR be needed to complete setting it up? Also,anybody got a pic of what it normally looks like when fitted please?
4. The memory drivers seat suddenly won't go forward as far as it did on any of the settings - Suzy Cute can't reach the pedals now so you can imagine the grief I am getting!
   
   Seems to work OK otherwise, just will not go as far forward as it did when it first arrived (Seat creaks and squeaks like an old man!)
