w203 facelift conversion

Hi Guys,

I am due to take my car to the body shop to have it tidied up after the winter and I was wondering if it is possible to update an early w203 with the facelift bumpers?

if so, is there anything i need to watch out for?

Yes, it's entirely possible.

I've done the update on my W203 although I went with the AMG bodykit. There was another member on here who had done the upgrade with the newer bumpers too.

The list of what I did to mine is in my signagture, but it ran to front & rear lights, update mirror blinkers, window trim, wipers etc.

Are you going to update the lights on yours too? - they make a massive difference in the appearance.

What trim level is your car, Classic, Elegance, Avantgarde etc?

There are a few things to watch out for, mainly getting the correct parts, i.e. bumper and correct bumper re-inforcement trim.
