Hi,

I have a W203 coupe that I have put a deposit down on, and the AA check has come back stating that the fan blower control (controls whether the fan is blowing on the windscreen, feet, face, etc) is a turn out, thus their is a misalignment between what the controls says it should be doing, and what its doing.

Is there anyway to correct this? And if so, how?

It may need re-setting. There is a "how to" here somewhere.

Hpld down front defro. & recir. buttons for 10-15 sec., you'll see light will start blinking, relesase and HVAC system should reset. Key in position 2 or with engine running.

Is it the manual fan controls ie. the plastic temperature dials as opposed to the digital temperature reading with the up/down buttons?

If its just the plastic dials, just pull off the dial and push it back on in the right place. If its the digital ones then do as previous posts i guess.

Thanks ontmiss this worked perfectly!

I think the "manual" ones can still be realigned - they're moved by servo motors, they're not really manaual at all.
