Does anyone know the 2005 part numbers for W203 clear halogens (not Xenon).

I want the UK / HK / SG / AU spec part numbers. (all same)

Miro

Miro, may be able to find out later this week or early next as Im going in to the Dealers for similar, possibly same, part info for my 03 CL203 coupe, im just waiting on some other bits to arrive. Is it the Whole assembly including clear lens or just the clear lens or just the bits without the lens?

Portzy.

My EPC shows 3 full pages of parts. Steve (MBenzNL) is just about to make a bid on complete units. So I placed an order for RHD clear halogens. Several people locally have asked for this item.

It would be a good time for a group buy, considering that Steve is stocking up now.

RHD W203 C180 Kompressor Estate donor car for the chassis number.

203 820 3461 and 203 820 3361 are the part numbers £164.43+vat and are on back order.

Cheers. Now going back to the designated parts page. It is one of the first items. Marked [805] which is this current facelift part number and [613] Asymmetrical.

EDIT: Are you sure of that ? Seeing as it is coming up LHD on my parts list ?

Ive got a chassis number if you want it of the car.

It was a C180 Kompressor estate in that electric blue colour with grey MB twin. Telephone pre wire in elegance trim.

I need someone else to validate the part numbers as well. I can only see them as LHD / Right Hand Traffic.

Miro, do you want me to do anything next week when I go to the dealers? You're way ahead of me with this one, i'm a bit lost to be honest. Would like to join in/follow up this one.

Code [805] is the new spec. [613] is the asymetrical (spelling ?) pattern.

Just push for a RHD part number since it cant possibly be the same as LHD.

Rest assured when everyone sees the new W203 lights in Halogen they will want one if they have a W203 ... or similar.

So lets get it right and later we can look it up if we need it.

Anyone find out anymore info on these clear halogen lights for the W203

Dave

As posted before (my EPC was wrong) -

Lights
------
203 820 3461 and
203 820 3361

However

203 820 0361
203 820 0461 also appear valid.

Repeaters
---------
203 820 1521
203 820 1621

Fogs
----
with xenon HL
203 820 1156
203 820 1256

with halogen HL
203 820 1756
203 820 1856

Does not apply to AMG foglamps.

Miro,

All those part numbers !! and also part numbers for the repeaters, can't you just order the whole unit, nearside and offside. Or do the parts all fit inside the original case and if so, I will need a part number for the clear lens over the unit.
Getting more confused by the day. You say your EPC was wrong, whats an EPC?

When Miro says repeaters i assume he means the new LED wing mirror indicators on the facelift car . The headlamp unit for that price should be complete and the clear fogs are a new feature of the facelift also.

Best to check with your parts people before ordering.

Thanks for posting that comment. You are right as far as I can tell.

EPC is the DVD or CD with all the drawings and part numbers.

203 coupe headlights

Hi:)

I've recently bought 2003 C2ook coupe and wanted to fit the newer style clearlens headlghts.
I nearly made some mistakes whilst trying to find a pair of these items , so here are some warnings!!

There are some aftermarket ones on E-bay - They are advertised for the sedan model and the seller told me they would also fit coupe models - WRONG - They wont! Thankfuly I realised before ordering.

Also beware sedan owners - if you order ones off E-bay, make sure items you buy for yours are for RHD cars ( uk owners).

I contacted Mercedes in Stockport and they were less than helpful saying "I would be entering a whole world of pain".

I have researched this subject every night for about 3 weeks ( I know - get a life) and I think I am correct in saying there are no aftermarket clear headlights available for the coupe model. Your options are second hand or new items from Mercedes.

Expect to pay 50 to 100 pounds per headlight second hand.
I was quoted 461.38 pounds for a new pair from Mercedes.

Eventualy, Boss Mercedes helped me out. They had one used item and they supplied me with matching other side from Mercedes, which was cheaper than Mercedes price. Total bill inc postage was 320 pounds. An excelent service and very helpful. Go to www.mercedesparts.co.uk

Headlights arrived today and look fantastic. I've compared the headlights with existing ones and am positive they are a direct replacment. I cant wait:D

Part numbers are....

drivers side (new) A 203 820 08 59
Passenger side (s/hand) A 203 820 47 61

I hope this is of help to some of you.:)
