w203 headlamp glass upgrade

Does anyone know if its possible to update my 03 headlamps with the later clear halogen style type by just replacing the glass? ,i have looked on my headlamps and its seems possible that the glass is replacable on its own but wondered if its that simple

The glass is bonded on, and does not come off.
