I was under the impression my 2002 c200k had isofix points but I can't see them anywhere? Worst case scenario can I retrofit a set in? Unfortunately for me this is a deal breaker for the wife as we have 2 isofix seats at 300 each. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Craig

I don't think you can retrofit ISO-fix anchor points. Back in 2002 it would have been an option, and that box not often ticked.

Hmmm after a chat with a merc tech apparently you can but only if the car was setup in advance. ie the holes had been drilled but no anchor points fitted which he told me is pretty common. Time to get the rear bench out and have a look.

Hmmm interesting any idea when they became standard? I would like to know if the estate Im picking up next week has them it has got a light in the centre console for passenger airbag turn off?

My 2005 model year W203 doesn't have them.

Mine has the light but after getting the back seats out I don't have the pre drilled hole or the screw attatched. IMO looking at the retrofit part it could be done. I'll let you know how I get on.

I had my S203 in for a service recently at Merparts in Port Glasgow and asked about isofix due to an arrival next spring. They looked into it and said it could be done and gave me a price but as it was including some other work I couldn't tell you exactly how much it was.
