Looks good - I'm currently considering a single slat girll for my CLS.

How is the quality of yours - noticeably different from the original at all?

The quality is very good, I replaced my W202 grill for a Avantgarde one from Germany and the quality was noticeably different from OEM but this one is very good :thumb:

Hi

Looks realy good, it updates the car. I was just wondering if it would fit a c32 amg? Also does it affect your insurance premium?

I like that a lot, makes the front end look lower and meaner......

I know the C55 is a different grill, I think the C55 uses the CLK front end. I'd email the seller and ask but even if the standard W203 doesn't fit, i'd guess the CLK/C55 one would.
I've just noticed that the ebay seller in the title of my grill lists C32.
I haven't told my insurance, I expect if i had front end damage they would replace the grill back to standard or more than likely write the car off.

Looks good, your insurance wouldn't pay out if you have an accident and that grill is on the car, you need to inform them of any modifications you made however little, any excuse for them to not pay out and they'll take it.

I very much doubt an insurance guy would spot that if its in pieces, my 1st 202 was compltely faclifted and they didn't say anything when it was written off

Yeah I fitted it myself - about 15 mins in total :)
6 small bolts, 4 across the top of the grill & 1 on each sides .
The 4 across the top, just reuse the standard bolts, the side ones I had to use my own self tapping screws (last owner of the grill past them on)
It also came with a new bonnet catch/pull, the original was too wide to fit through the gap on the grill. I used this How To from the USA site how do i replace the hood latch made for the cl grille? - MBWorld.org Forums
