W203 speedmoter stops sometimes

My cars speedometer some time stops working and gives 0mph reading...sometimes its starts on its on. Looks like some wire is loose not sure how to track this loose connection.

Could anyone suggest wayforward.

The road speed to the instrument cluster is sent over the cars chassis can network from the traction control unit. If you dont have any warning lights on the dash regarding ABS/BAS or ESP I would suggest its a problem within the instrument cluster. The best thing would be to get it into someone with a star machine as the guages can be actuated manually , and the fault codes read.
