hi all, I am pretty sure by now my from suspension thrust arms need replacing, heard its a common fault, I have the symptoms and tbh, I will change them, but just them. so what is the correct terminology besides thrust arms? ecp have lower front, lower rear (both from axle), what else is there?

can anyone provide diagrams and a dictionary/thesaurus for these parts, it gets confusing, right? or maybe its just me.

also, my discs were warped so the juddering is gone, but it starting to clunk/snatch hence the request.

finally, lemforder right? or is there a more genuine part from somewhere? if so where?

thanks a lot guys.

Yes Lemforder. Upper and lower control arms are what you are looking for. Are your ball joints, anti-roll bar bushes and drop links OK? They don't cost much and you might as well do those too.

well i asked ATS to do the balancing and tracking, and they refused because they spotted the lower(?) (bigger) arm has a nasty gash at the ball joint, also drop link has a gash too, so i'll get those two sorted. they quoted me £400 all in, with tracking and balancing, i'll do them myself and take it to them for tracking and balancing later

If you're getting them from eurocarparts don't forget to use the club code at the checkout on their reserve and collect online option. Code mbclub30 works ok, I just tried it.
Brings the price of the Lemforder lower arms (steel) down to £77.81
The upper ones are alloy.
Just changed mine, fairly easy job.

I just ordered some rear dampers with that code, saved me fifty squid, but will definitely do the arms and drop links too, thanks for being decent enough to remind me.
