W203 Very strange elecrical problem

Hi all,
would anybody out there have any idea about a problem with my W203 C200k 2002.
Whilst I was working away with the car parked up at home my wife called to say all the exterior light kept coming on. I got her to reset all the comfort lights so no auto lights, car park lights, lights not staying on when alarm set.
I get home and start the car, notice wing mirrors are at wrong angles so try and adjust but they now don't work or will only work in one direction.
then when I turn on the ignition the headlamp washers start, and again when I start the car.
Then the obc tells me there is a coolant level problem but the level is ok.
I have no idea what to do or what it could be so any help would be very much appreciated.

Yes, there is a lot of water in the fuse area behind the headlight switch which I have been informed is because of water not draining from the top of the o/s wing. Upon removal of the switch it seems to have been a long term issue as the was a lot of corrosion to the plug and pins, so much so 2 pins have corroded completely. Switch ordered from ebay but at a loss what to do about the corroded plug, I would imagine it is part of the loom.
