Some advice needed - I am looking at getting a w204 220 for the Mrs, however my budget only really extends to high mileage examples.

I would rather get a w204 than a 203 due to the extra load space.

My Mercs are all older, with epic mileages and no real problems so big miles don't put me off.

If its been looked after is there any reason to be put of by 80/90k miles on the clock?

I'd agree. Am happy with mine and plan to keep it a while so will knock up the milage in due course. I had 130k faultless miles in a W202 but I gave the 203 a swerve after being unimpressed with the test drive and some indifferent press coverage.

My sport 2009 non BE estate was £16k with 33k miles. A non sport 80k estate should fit the budget. And there is no finer car than a C class estate. I should know....

So have agreed a price of 11k for a 09 c220 Sport, metallic black, full leather, and fully loaded except for sat nav. One owner, full MBSH, and years MOT and Tax. It's got bang on 100k on the clock.

Before I test drove it I test drove a demo model at Mercedes Chelsea so I could have a benchmark to compare to, then test drove the high miler straight after, ran beautifully, no rattles, bodywork and interior mint.

I have a COMAND system for you for if interested :).....grey dash trim?
