W204 aircon doesn't work

2011 w204 diesel 50k miles.The aircon worked perfectly then suddenly it blinks three tiles when I press the button and nothing happens.
Where do I start? Anybody had the same problem?

My guess is that it needs regassing?

As above, when fixed use the aircon ALL the time summer and winter
Use it or loose it.

Same with my previous cars last car over 5 years used all year round never any need for regassing etc.

OP, your aircon is low on gas; it needs recharging. Why it is low on gas is another matter, but you'd need a specialist to tell you that. It could be a hole, in which case it is most likely it will also need a new condenser, or it might just be low on gas because it has been little used and the gas has leaked out little by little over time.
