My car (C250CDI Coupe May 2011) has been suffering from a couple of irritating issues on the DAB radio since I got the car. First one is the DAB radio volume which randomly freezes leaving you unable to turn it up or down. The second is the inability of the DAB radio to remember which station you were listening when I turned the car off.
Car has been to the dealer twice for this and I have been fobbed off twice with the excuse that there was nothing wrong with the system or that they could not replicate it ?????
I took the car to MB Manchester for another warranty issue so I mentioned this to them too. The tech guy said it was a software issue so I left it with them.
To my surprise, they sorted it out. Volume on the DAB works fine now and it remembers I was on XFM
I notice the Bluetooth menus are different now and the phone pairing screen is different too.
I haven't noticed any other changes but the firmware is definitely different.
