Hi, I work for a company and we have just taken this c350 cdi in and we have noticed a lot of the smaller Brabus details in the advert and are curious if there is a way to get a verification of the tuning being done to the vehicle. I have tried through MB Milton Keynes and they require a V5 in my name and a copy of my licence to ensure everything lines up. As a business though we cant do it that way as it adds an extra owner to the record.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated I can add images of the car if anyone is interested as we plan to be selling it at some point in the near future once we have more information.

A quick under bonnet photo would help, but it may just be a generous sprinkling of eBay badges and a set of C63 style alloys...or it could be the real deal 😉

Different car, same, engine, same Brabus D6 kit. Might help in pointing out where to look.

It looks so good though... 313bhp / 700nm in that S204 config with those wheels and that colour... lovely.

The 'C35' sucks though

I'd check the front valance is still there after that parking though ;)

Hi Thanks for the responses, we have this that came with the car after it arrived. I've added some images of the engine bay not sure where I'd need to look for anything, the car is mint, its done 40 ish thousand miles and has history from 2013 to 2024 where it had a b service that isnt on the list below at the same Mercedes Dealer. I'll try the decoder now but last i checked it wouldnt come up with the car, but im unsure if it would show if the work was done after.

You'd need to remove the engine cover to be able to see any extra wires. Ultimately it needs to be connected to the battery so you can start there.

Some proper OEM MB installations (i.e. from factory or done 'properly' at the dealer) will have the black box actually inside the cabin, such as under the steering wheel area, tucked away, so a bit trickier to find.

Ill get a photo tomorrow without the engine cover, with that vin decoder it does say Engine Increased Performance and yeah its a shame about the badges im not so keen on them myself either they do look a bit tacky

This is part of the extra loom for the Brabus kit. Also look at the battery (unclip the airbox on the top right of the engine bay) as the loom is connected to that too.
