W204 C63 Newbie

I’m under the back end of the car cleaning under the wheel arch liner and having spent a lot of time looking at the multi link rear suspension I cannot see how the camber angle can be adjusted unless some of the bushes are in ”eccentric“ housings 🤔. Reason for asking is i’m planning on getting new tyres fitted and was planning on having a 4 wheel alignment done at the same time for peace of mind that everything is as it should be. i was planning on spraying the relevant bolts with penetrating oil and a lubricating oil so the guys at the garage are not fighting with bolts fitted nearly 7 years ago. Any ideas folk 🧐🤷‍♂️

Not too bad for 6.5 years and probably never had a clean under here before 🤔

The rear wheel arch liners aren’t that much of a job to get in and out if anyone is thinking of doing theirs 👍

I think we can safely say it's definitely not been cleaned since new in there. This is next level detailing!

Thanks Steve.👍 I doubt I will venture under the wheel arch liners for a while but good to know there was no signs of rust developing 😎

It’s worth running a drill bit through the holes in the discs if you’re under there. The front holes looked clear but quite a bit of dirt out . As Andy (@cawkyuk ) says, the rear holes were far worse but you can only clean out 70% due to the back plate stopping access. As clean as they can be without removing the discs (which is beyond my pay grade ) 😂😂😂

Spotted today whist I was out building up ”Carbon Credits“ ready to tax the C63 on Monday, for a free ride on my new bike what is it and where is it 🤔🤔. @cawkyuk is ineligible for a prize as he already knows the answer 😂

could it be a Unimog? and is it in Yorkshire?

Sarah I believe it is a Unimog and it is in Yorkshire , just, as it’s at Spurn Point Nature Reserve 😎

Do I win?

You do and you’re welcome to choose which bike you would like to ride , I’ve got a few to choose from , although I may have just sold one 😎

I'm happy with any Andy. l'll plan my next visit up north to include a bike ride :thumb:

We have some fantastic roads for cycling in East Yorkshire, loads of back roads and lots of interesting routes with not much traffic, I wouldn’t take the C63 down them but great on a bike 😎
