W204 C63 sound system upgrade

Looking for advice. My W204 C63 (facelift model) doesn't have the Harmon Kardon factory fitted sound system. Without spending huge amounts of money what are the best upgrades owners would recommend. I'm looking for a richer/ deeper sound than the current system for when I'm cruising on motorways etc and can't really hear the exhaust.

I am lucky enough to live 20 mins from commandonline. We both got our cars around the same time and my C63 did not have the HK. Mine went it late last week and it is a noticeable difference had the morrel and a small alpine sub woofer and now have the clarity from system I wanted. Distance maybe the only issues for you, unless you feel you could fit them yourself.

I haven't visited yet but also have been recommended Command online and their Morel speakers plus dynamat sound deadening. The speakers are the limiting factor with the C63 installation rather than the quality of the source equipment.

Thanks for the responses. I had a look at the Command online site. I was hoping to get something done closer to home as I'm not looking to fit these myself , happy to pay for a decent installation if anyone knows of someone in the Yorkshire area they can recommend ?

Give Execspec in Nottingham a call. The owner happens to drive a C63 as well. Done a few cars for forum members on here.

Definitely go see Comand Online in Lightwater. Alfie fitted Morel speakers with Dynamat insulation to my W204, connected to a standard COMAND NTG4.7, i.e. no separate amp etc, and the sound quality is absolutely amazing. And that was a 'starter' sound system upgrade... I can only imagine what one of their 'high-end' systems must sound like.... not to mention that they did a fantastic job, the car looks 100% original. Highly recommended.

I went to Baris in London (from Manchester) to have the BM54 unit upgraded and one or two other jobs done.
I didn't give the distance a second thought but I enjoyed the homeward journey very much

This appears to be a well regarded upgrade for the C63, distance is the only downside for me.
