W204 chip/remap

Hi guys I'm new to the forum, also new to the mercedes owner club, is there anyone the can help me, I would love to remap/chip my 2009 c220cdi amg sport, but I've been told it's not possible as mercedes have incripted the ecu stopping and remap, is this true? If it's not could you suggest where to take it?? I've also been told that if it's possible it would knacker my auto box. Is this true?? Many thanks guys

Ifs remap is not possible then a tuning box is a good alternative. We supply them for £350. Fitting is DIY too. They work very well and I have sold many with great feedback.

As long as the gearbox has been maintained then you should not have an issue.

Hi,
It is now possible to remap your c220. It is slightly more difficult to do due to a tri-core processor but a good tuning workshop can do it no problem. The auto gearbox will be absolutely fine. The gearbox you have is also fitted to the c250cdi, it has more power and torque and can even take the brabus upgrade up to 244bhp so no worries. I can have the car remapped for you in southwest Scotland for £250 to take it to 204bhp and improve your fuel economy but I'm not sure of your location

I had my new 2013 C220 Sport Plus remapped at only 2000 miles at a place called Celtic Tuning located in Cornwall. They do a great job and will come out to you on a booking.

This is the 3rd car they have done for me with the last car a Honda 8th gen Accord where they had to take the ecu off and solder the connections to it to by pass the security.

I can say my 220 pulls like a train and put out 210hp and 351lb/ft of torque. Fuel economy is still around 51mpg on the motorway and 40+ around town.

If you can get to them they will dyno test the car as part of the package price!! :bannana:

Hi I have put a sports back box and an induction kit on my c180 w202 1997 should I have my ECU remaped or should I wait until I get a DIY Chip from Ebay I was thinking of putting some injectors from a 220 or 224 is this possible to do and will it help with the mph or just mess things up. Thanks for any help
