My dads 2015 W205 saloons bootlid has stopped working. He says there was a bag in the road which stopped it closing.
I have a launch diagnostic device which says
B22455 -
Control Unit " Trunk Lid/Tailgate Control"
Has A Malfunction. The Component Is Not Configured.
I assume it needs some sort of calibration, my device cant seem to do that, through actuation on the device i can get the lid to move up and down ok.
What devices do calibrate the bootlid, i know of mbstar but this launch device usually can do most other functions on other brands. Has anyone experienced this issue before.
