According the the manual, a 320 is 4577mm long, whereas a 430 is 4567mm long. How come?

Cos the 430's cooler

The shorter the better ( or so i try to convince the wife ! ) ;)

probably has something to do with the V8? or maybe a mistake in the published figs u saw

Just looked in my manual and they are all the same length , width , height and wheelbase from the CLK200 to the CLK55

Length of all of them is 4567mm

Certainly sounds like it. Am sure there would be no reason for it to be 10mm longer! Although I am told that length is everything :D

Hi,
The only reason why any CLK would be longer than the other would be down to bumpers or the trim on the bumpers, ie, Elegance etc, but as Howard quoted the AMG having possibly the largest of standard bumpers is still the same length.

4567 eh, wonder if this is a conincidence or if the engineers set out to make a numerical point.

What is the height - 1234?! :D

If you can manage to lower it by 137 you will have some sort of mobile mathematical wonder.
