Hi I'm hoping someone can give me some advise please. My interior door handle, the one used to close the door, has broken off. The door card has been removed and the remains of the original handle have been unscrewed. I have been to mercs to get a new one but they are telling me it's a complete unit with the arm rest which it clearly isn't as it has 3 little screws holding it on. They've quoted me £101 for a new handle but I that's a bit excessive for a piece of plastic that's only 6/7 inches long. Anyone had this problem before and know how I can just get the handle or am I going to have to cough up the cash for a new section of door card? Many thanks

contact a breaker on ebay who will supply you the part you need at a fraction of the price.

if its a seperate part, unscrew it completely and have a look on the individual part of a part number (starts with A208 sopmething (probably)).....

Or phone the local scrapyards up and see if they have one available - at least that way you can take it off yourself carefully and keep any clips etc that you may need when refitting the door card.
