A mate got a new Dyno Dynamics 4WD dyno installed in his shop, and wanted me to take my car over to try it out to get some "practice" on auto dyno-ing.
It came out as 333BHP and 348lb/ft. The BHP figure is actually quite good I think - the manufacturer spec is 342BHP and it's almost 8 years old, and there will be some loss through torque conversion. However the torque number is a lot lower - 378lb/ft is the spec figure.
The noise of that engine in an enclosed space is absolutely deafening though
.
Anyone else on M113 engines that have done tests on them? I was honestly expecting around the 300BHP mark as I am skeptical of stated figures and the car is old (well serviced, but old).
