w209 boot lock

morning

i have a w209 clk 270cdi and the boot lock will not open on the handle it will open with the button in the car and with the key but just wont work with the handle, i have stripped the boot out and checked all the wiring and that is fine i have plugged xentry into the car and shows rear sam fault with terminal 15!! can anyone help..

i have removed the rear sam and found the circuit card all burnt

Seems a common issue. I had one go on my CLK500. They aren't cheap!

One thing I found was that they got mofified and the position of the relay for the parking sensors got moved!
