Right, the unit is installed & coded, many thanks for all your advice. Just a quick question, I've got the original MB ipod kit installed, which was there prior to comand - the ipod only seems to display as aux, with no track names on the comand, I'm pretty sure I've heard that its supposed to be controllable from comand - unlike the audio 20 which has to be controlled via steering wheel buttons?

Any advice on this one?

Also have a question on the start up volume level, comand seems to revert to a default volume on start up rather than previously selected volume.

Is this normal? can it be set to remember previously set volume?

I've tried setting a lower volume level, switching the unit off & then on again reverts it to the higher volume.

Guys, I've seem to have lost my GPS signal completely on my w209 NTG2 and its not picking up. Is there a trick to reset the unit to look for GPS signal?

The sat nav thinks I'm somewhere else rather than my location, with satellites showing 0/11.

The signal was perfect throughout since the installation, but has dropped out after a dash board dressing application (very weird). The product used was Gtechniq C6 Matte Dash.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Took the antenna out, all seemed to be in the correct place - no change upon leaving it on the dash for 20 min... That's the Sat status.

Any thoughts on those stats?
