W209, NTG2 Change Fahrenheit to Celsius

Hello,

the outside temperature is shown in Fahrenheit on my dashboard. Any clue how to change from Fahrenheit to Celsius for outside temperature on my CLK350, W209, 2006 with NTG2. There is not option in the Instrument Cluster. I can change from Miles to Kilometer but not the temperature.

No menu option available where I can change from Fahrenheit to Celsius. Any clues?

Many thanks but it didn't work. I can only change miles <-> km and there is no option for me to change C <-> F. My car is imported from US, perhaps I need to upgrade the software?

Any clues anyone?

Curious, that page is from the US version of the handbook! Do you have the other options?

No doubt they have a 'US mode' like we have 'UK mode' on the cluster that needs to be removed before certain options can be changed via the cluster.

Quite possibly but why show the instructions and not mention "you can't do this in USA", as they do in the UK handbook?

Plus this doesn't remove a vital display, just changes from C to F

Can the Thermotronic display be changed from F to C? I seem to recall you could, perhaps this affects the cluster display as well?

MB decided to cancel the C <-> F option on the restyled w209. Check the manual for CLK550, it is no longer there!!

I believe you need to change the Region using a Star. My dealer does not know how to do it, any ideas?

They use F in US and C in Canada. But I moved the car to Switzerland, so I need Celsius! My dealer never did this, so they do not know how to change it. And I am new here, cannot send a PM to Flrash (I am sure he knows the answer).

Please help!!! with a detailed instructions like

1). Go into Programs...
2). Locate the Rear SAM program
3). Locate "BODY"
4). then select "Netherlands"

I went to an authorized MB dealer in Sweden. They changed the Region to Sweden, where I live. This gave me the option to select Swedish language but did NOT open up the menu to choose F <-> C. :-(
