Car
W208 CLK55 AMG
so i have been playing with the idea of a new exhaust.
any one on here have a aftermarket one on there 210
see my problem is i hate the look of the downfacing pipes on my car so would like to make it look better without really changing the noise. i detest loud cars so does anyone know of a place or make i could get one done that doesent intrude with noise.... any help greatly apriciated.. thanks

If you get a stainless steel system you can have the exhaust "tuned" to whatever sound you desire.

I had a stainless one fitted to my E320cdi estate, purely because it was MOT time and MB were unable to supply one. Despite assurances given beforehand, it was quite a lot louder when I gave the car some beans - cruising along, you could hardly tell the difefrence. If you want quiet, I'd suggest you stick with an original MB exhaust.

only thing is the original just looks old and its been on there for 10 years now.. do you guys know of anyone local to essex that could help me out.. also have you got any pics of your car with the stainless on it.. thanks

I'm needing a new back box - I don't want to replace it with original so I'm probably going to have one replaced by a local exhaust manufacturer Welcome To Exhaust Craft. I'm probably wanting the rear silencer removed all together... anyone tried that??

I'd like to keep the AMG badged one on the left of the car but I actually like the idea of having a twin outlet. Will see what happens.
