hello all, chap from work after admiring my motor for a long time decided to get a merc. 2002 w210 e270. lovely looking car, but he wasnt happy, no cd. went on ebay got single cd player second hand out of 2008 e class. units look the same, apart from new one cd slot old one cassette drawer. turn units round completely different plugs wiring etc, now i said i would come on here,ask all you people in the know is there a simple way of converting the wiring some sort of adapter plug to update the wiring ? or is he better off putting it back on ebay and trying to source a 2002 cd unit if they do one that is ?
