W210 Comand APS updates ?

Hi - does anyone know if the older comand APS4 units in W210 ( 1999 ) had an update MY00 / MY01 .

How can I tell if my unit has these upgrades ?

Can these update CDs be purchased and updates done easily or is it MB only - how much should this cost ?

Where is the best place to buy the latest map disc for this unit - will this have the MY00 / MY01 updates built in ?

Can I get postcode entry ?

Sorry for all the questions - just a bit p***ed i keep getting sent to the wrong place by the sat nav

update to APS4 issues

Spoke to stealers regarding any updates - was informed that there are no specific updates for my comand APS system, only the latest MAP software.

I purchased the final edition 2007 blaupunkt travel pilot cds for england and scotland/ireland.

This now give me postcode entry / house number entry / lots more points of interest and the ability to re-route around congestion which were not possible with my old / original cd.

Maybe this will help someone else with a similar system with simlar issues ??

You know if you have the MY01 update if your comand displays the MB logo on startup nad has the 'intelligent' address entry where it blanks out letters during address entry.

The latest disk for your car is the 2007/2008 DX disk either with or without TMC.
