W210 Comand TV Tuner

Hi,

I've just bought my first Mercedes, a 2001 E220 and it has a comand 2.0, (least I think it's 2.0), built in. Everything on it works except for the TV which says "!No TV". I assume this means that there is no TV tuner in the car and looking in the boot i certainly can't see anything that resembles one.

I've searched the forums and found some stuff but most of it is 3 or 4 years old now so i'm hoping that someone can point me in the right direction with more up to date info.

Basically, I'm wanting to get this function enabled so I obviously need a tuner but i also want to be able to plug in a DVD and maybe a digital tuner aswell.

Would I have to buy a MB Tuner or can I buy a 3rd party one, if there is such a thing, and install it myself?

Any help or links would be greatly appreciated. I love my new car

With a 2000 car you can use the interface that hugharse put up, you will find it in the electrics section. with this you can use DVD and TV

Yes you can add TV, the hardest part is the antenna
