W210 E class manuals on CD

I've noticed that there are a lot of adverts for technical manuals on CD appearing on Ebay (Just search for W210)

Does anybody have any info on whether these CDs offer the technical info they claim to or are they all likely to be copies of the E Class info CD, which although useful is less than helpful for real jobs?

They are cheap enough so I might just take a punt and have a look myself but they do appear to have 'Holy Grail' stamped all over them!

Anybody already been bitten?

I got a set of these on Ebay for my w124 . They were American based and pretty much useless as my model wasn't even covered on the CD's. They are ofcourse pirate copies of genuine american MB info CD's, but their information is very limited . Better with a Haynes manual. Very much Buyer Beware. I demanded and got a full refund.

I'm also looking for a decent W210 manual. Bought one off Ebay for £10 and it appeared to be only one disk out of a set of 4 or 5. I complained and seller told me that an error had been made in the description and offered a full refund. I've just returned the disk, so we'll see if I ever get the refund or not. If you find anything worth having at reasonable cost, please do let me know.

i pay £600 per year and thats not bad

normaly i buy the books which i still do its a sort of hard copy, with the cd i have to print out then save and the post which is time consumeing thats why i like the books as well
