W210 E320 CDI Thermostat

The engine temperature showing on the gauge seems a bit low. In traffic, it won't go above 80deg, but then on the motorway it struggles to get over 60deg. I suspect the thermostat is sticking open, but I thought I'd ask for opinions on here before I go out and spend c£50 on another one

Get a genuine one from MB.

It does sound like a thermostat issue.

Yeah, it seems that way to me. I've just called my local dealer and it is a reasonable £41+VAT, so I think that might be my first job on the car
