Back box off a W210 E36 AMG, might fit a E55 AMG and perhaps of use to someone ?

How easy would that be to fit/convert to a W202?

Simply case of welding it on?

Think the actual box is a bit too big for a 202
Not enough physical room under the floor.
When I took the one off my E55, there is a BIG space it fits into. I can't remember seeing that much room when I changed to one on my old 202.

Would it fit my 96 w210 E230 ? But would there be a noise change ? I am an old 34 I dont like noise !

Don't think it will fit either the 230 or the 55. Pretty sure this only fits the E36 or E320. I guess anything is possible if you're handy with a welder.

The part number is the same as my E55.
I checked it when it was on last time and I had my rear box off.
