W210 Front Wheel Bearings

Thinking of replacing the front wheel bearings.

Do you really need a dial gauge for adjustment or can it be done by feel.

Then again...why are you replacing them?

If you grab the wheels top and bottom and rock.....there is movement. Suspension all seems tight....so assuming wheel bearings.

If they're not noisy, I would just adjust the endfloat out

As above, all you are describing is a bearing in need of adjustment, not replacement.

Yes, tighten by hand and then loosen off a smidgeon.
