W210 Side and headlights

My n/s xenon started to turn an orangey colour last week, so I swapped the bulbs over to the other side to make sure the bulb was the culprit. Sure enough, the n/s was fine and the o/s went dodgy. However, the bulb has now failed completely, and the o/s side light has gone out entirely too.

Are these related or it is pure coincidence? Am I missing something here? Apologies if very obvious!

Sounds like coincidence.

You needed a bulb anyway and I would have replaced the pair so they look the same colour.

Has the complete headlamp failed (side/indicators)?

Yes, I'm about to go and pick up the new bulbs. I'm well aware they need to be replaced in pairs, I was just concerned that the side light had gone at the same time and therefore there was also a problem not related to the bulbs.

Indicators are working fine.

You just need new Xenon lamps. Good chance they're the originals. Mine are goosed too.
