W211 2005 E-Class Blinker Replacement

hi guys,

so.. the passenger side wing mirror was knocked and the blinker glass and mirror glass smashed. got replacement glass and blinker from mercedes today (cost £76!!! ) managed to change the mirror glass fine but i dont understand how to change the blinker?

any help will be greatly appreciated!!

Fold the mirror in. There is a large spring tab inside the mirror cover (accessed from the front of the mirror). Lever the tab with a screwdriver and the mirror casing slides off. It will still be attached by the feed cable to the blinker. You can then replace the blinker glass and the mirror casing then simply slides back on and clips into place.
