Hello members,
I am changing the damaged leather on my lhd 2005 w211 estate drivers seat and bought a UK rhd passenger seat. I had to buy the whole seat complete and to my knowledge the seat covers if removed will fit perfectly. That being said, as I have bought the whole seat I am considering removing the lhd drivers seat and installing the rhd passenger seat. The only difference I note on first glance is there is a lever on the right hand side which manually raises the set height which is not present on mine and the lumber (if indeed is a lumber wheel) adjustment is a lever on my car seat whilst it is a a round cam knob wheel on the UK rhd passenger seat. Regarding the electrics and overall install I would imagine that this will be the same . Can anyone help verify that that the whole seat will replace my drivers seat without issue ?
It is the grey perforated leather type although think this UK is heated whilst mine is not . Don´t know if the electrics permit that .
Thks
Tony
